As a civil engineer and contractor, Kevin has been a part of the construction industry in New Zealand for over thirty years. Unlike most lawyers, he is experienced in the construction process from a practical perspective. Kevin has been practising construction law since 2009. The firm became a family project in 2017, when Laura and Kate came onboard as law clerks. They were admitted to the High Court in June 2019.
Laura became a Junior Partner in the firm in August 2022, and Kate became a Junior Partner in the firm in May 2023.

We are passionate about educating members of the construction industry on their rights and obligations as principals and contractors. Encouraging compliance throughout the industry with the Construction Contracts Act 2002 is a particular focus within the firm.
